MANDATE: 

  • The Account Manager will work with existing and uncover future potential clients to identify opportunities by utilizing industry knowledge. The incumbent is charged with developing trusting relationships and be available by communicating via phone, in writing, via e-mail and through face-to-face conversations. This person operates as a liaison between the customer and the company and facilitates superior service through problem solving approaches
  • Understand financial goals and expectations of the company and meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives
  • Plan, develop and implement sales strategies to lead negotiations that are consistent with internal strategy while, at the same time, reflective of customer requirements and competitive
  • Assemble and present information for service and fixed priced repair offerings
  • Identify and pursue potential customers to drive and support growth objectives
  • Analyze customer needs and secure desirable business through application of company products and services
  • A valuable and engaged contributor within sales and operational meetings
  • Manage maintenance agreements and renewal agreements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop sales proposals and prepare estimates for the sale of company products and services
  • Prepare and maintain required customer information and files in accordance with established procedures
  • Work with mechanic/supervisors to support outstanding customer issues
  • Service existing customer account base but primarily build outside of the company’s current customer base increasing maintenance market share and meeting sales quotas
  • Maintain and develop customer/client relations to maximize all opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 5 to 7 years experience working in sales and account management
  • A Business Degree or Technical College required
  • Proven demonstrable ability in delivering sales growth
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships
  • Technical aptitude
  • Self-motivated and detailed oriented
  • Customer service focused
  • Effective communicator
