Mandate: 

Reporting to CFO your mandate will be to establish a new strategic direction and implement “Best in Class” processes in support of the company’s growth objectives.  You will provide a leadership role in the development of control processes aimed at improving the integrity over master data attributes in the ERP systems environment. As well as coaching and mentoring a team of IT professionals towards higher levels of performance and productivity.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Development and ownership of an overall IT strategy which is aligned to corporate objectives
  • Conducting needs analysis, planning, and business review of enterprise systems in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business development
  • Leading various stages of key projects and ensuring successful delivery of solutions through effective prioritization, issue management, and communication with stakeholders and the senior leadership team
  • Implementation of a BI reporting, planning and analytics strategy which is aligned to stakeholder needs
  • Development of enterprise-wide standards, policies and procedures to ensure compatibility and integration of all hardware and software platforms
  • Management of relationships with third-party service providers and ensuring adherence to service level agreements
  • Defining data classification and retention/archive strategies as well as coordinating strategies for data and security standards
  • Overseeing and managing a process to ensure effective maintenance over critical ERP master data attributes
  • Development and implementation of business continuity plans and risk management practices
  • Establishment of operating procedures and protocols to ensure effective delivery of IT support to end users

Candidate Experience and Competencies: 

Seeing positive, influential strategically – minded hands-on leaders.  The successful candidate will have the following offerings:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Computer Science
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience as an IT professional
  • 5+ years’ management and supervisory experience
  • Prior experience with an ERP implementation, specifically JDE Enterprise One
  • Prior experience and success with implementing BI/reporting/planning tools
  • Understanding of Consumer Packaged Goods Sales/Manufacturing business model
  • A proven track record of developing service and support strategies and improving customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, direct and coordinate project activities, ensuring customer satisfaction with support and project delivery
  • Ability to inspire and create positive action and drive for change within the teams, as well as with information technology suppliers and internal and external customers
  • Experience developing Standards of Best Practices
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
  • Strong ability to understand inter-related processes and the connections via systems and business processes
  • Excellent influencing, communication and listening skills, effective at overcoming resistance to change
  • Strong team leadership and managerial skills
