Order Management Lead

Our client is a premier manufacturer of fresh and frozen food products and distributes its signature private label and branded products to North America’s leading retailers and food service operators. They have engaged our services to source an Order Management Lead to work closely with Production, Logistics and Sales to achieve on time and full order delivery to all Customers.


  • Ensure all Sales Purchase Orders are processed in an accurate, timely manner
  • Provide Customer Service through correct pricing, quantities and promotions
  • Interact with customers, address customer inquiries and needs
  • Monitor the Production and Logistics schedule on a daily basis; anticipate changes and work with Production and Logistics Teams to insure customers’ needs are met
  • Act as a liaison between Customers and Teams to ensure effective communication
  • Insure that Logistics are informed of all new sales purchase orders; confirm the ship date and delivery date
  • Process all sales purchase orders into the system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Review all sales purchase orders for correct pricing and ensure that minimum quantities are met based on sales agreement with Customers
  • Resolve/follow up directly with Customers on any PO discrepancy excluding pricing (ie: quantities, required minimums etc)
  • Help with new customers set up in the system(s) and implement new procedures required by customers
  • Map the product
  • Support Logistics Team to ensure on time deliveries and cost-efficient freights; revise delivery dates according to delivery schedules, helping with the delivery appt
  • Support Logistics Team to resolve any discrepancy during the delivery, ie: customer complaints on orders, missing product, short /over shipments, providing complete details of product that need to be picked up and returned, temperature issues, requirement issues, appt issues, short dated product
  • Support Production and Shipping departments to ensure efficiency (ie: working closely with Customers to anticipate production and shipping changes, revise delivery dates according to production, shipping schedule if required)
  • Maintain the master data price lists for all Customers & work closely with the Sales team to ensure that the price list is updated
  • Responsible for the replenishment of stock for the third-party warehouse in US (IWI) and for Costco Maritimes Stores (direct shipments to the stores)
  • Provide sales and brokers with sales reports as required, along with retail link reporting
  • Work closely with members of the Sales & Marketing Team to achieve department and position objectives


  • Solid background in a similar role within CPG industry, ideally in food, 5+ years
  • Ability to deal with complexities of juggling changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • ERP design/Implementation experience
  • Order Processing automation experience
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Financial acumen – ability to determine quantity & pricing discrepancies
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Calm demeanor
  • Supervisory experience
  • MS Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • ERP data entry & reporting proficiency
