NATIONAL COMMERCIAL SALES MANAGER – CONSUMER GOODS

We are proud to be representing a Global Consumer Goods Company whose vast array of brands are extremely well recognized.  We are seeking a savvy Business Manager whose mandate is to manage and grow their commercial sales division.  This role focuses on the building and contracting industries and experience in this area is essential.  This role is equally exposed to both sales and marketing and the incumbent will have a successful track record working with commercial contracts as well as delivering sales results in national channels.  This quality-focused organization provides tremendous career growth within an excellent corporate culture.  Their progressive approach to their markets has earned them international success.  This role offers an excellent base salary and bonus.

The Mandate: 

  • Manage team objectives by working closely with their representatives.
  • Act as company lead at Trade Shows across Canada.
  • Develop a merchandising strategy for maximum growth for the company as well as the customer.
  • Manage an advertising and promotional budget at a National level.
  • Handle high-level customer requirements as well as support at all levels.
  • Present business reviews and opportunities for short term growth as well as long term strategic growth.
  • Conduct extensive forecasting on a National basis.
  • Work closely with functional departments for flawless execution.

Key Attributes:

  • Commercial contract sales experience within the construction industry.
  • University Degree.
  • Successful track in business development as well as negotiation.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Lateral thinker.
  • Willing to travel on a regional and national basis.
  • Excellent time management skills.
