PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Our client is presently recruiting for a Production Supervisor with strong lean manufacturing experience to supervise all activities of the hourly production employees, focusing on safety, quality, shipping/receiving, inventory analysis and GMPs.

• Lead production employees to achieve performance standards with regards to Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, line utilization and quality
• Oversee and assure facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
• Align team agenda with annual operating plan objectives
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations

• University degree or Industrial Engineer preferred
• 5–7 years of Production Supervisory work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in consumer packaged goods
• Proven experience with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts, 5S, TPM and other continuous improvement initiatives – Lean, Six Sigma Certification preferred
• Strong employee relations, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with emphasis on a goal and metric oriented approach to all tasks
• Demonstrated computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
• Working as a coach to achieve objectives, and an innovative thinker/communicator who can engage and energize employees
